The end of winter

Okay, maybe not officially, but I think we're close. I'm pretty sure we've had our last snow for the year this past Saturday and it looks to be in the 70's later this week. Time to get out and ride.

But, if you can't get outside there's always roller racing.

After a hard day sledding down suicide hill Saturday, I watched my first ever roller race at Harlings in Westport. All I can say is SUPER COOL! There's prizes to be won and ego's to break. This is a short FAST intense form of racing. Umm, but you don't go anywhere, you're on a stationary bike mounted to rollers. It's just like a drag race, count down lights and all!! Because you race for such a short amount of time, you don't need any special attire or equipment. You can wear whatever makes you feel fast. Like Jones in his tri-geek singlet, or that guy with the clown wig.

This is something everyone needs to try, I'm definitely going to give it a shot next time! Great fun Jones, Zeke and all involved!
